Photography Workshops

TIME : Day 1: 8.00am – 12.30pm / Day 2: 3.30pm – 8.00pm

VENUE : Various venues at Umm Al Emarat Park 

TYPE : Landscape Photography Workshop Open to photography enthusiast aged 16 and above. (10 spots available)

The workshop focuses on landscape photography and will utilize the Park’s 14.5 hectares of informal and formal gardens, its 200+ existing mature trees that are over 20 years old, and its extensive flora and fauna as a space and canvas for the participants.
Anthony will teach participants the art of composition, symmetry, balance, lead-in-lines and how to get the best out of the camera. Participants will also get an editing master class, and basic photoshop techniques that bring images to life.

Recommended equipment:

• Digital SLR or mirror-less camera with manual adjustment mode (ideally 20 mega pixels or more)

• Interchangeable lenses or standard zoom lens is fine

• Replaceable batteries and memory cards

• Tripod would be ideal but not essential (for low light photography)

• Laptop with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or similar (Session 2 only)
