Celebrate the Month of Reading and Mother’s Day at Umm Al Emarat Park

Abu Dhabi, 02, March 2023: To celebrate both Reading Month and Mother’s Day, Umm Al Emarat Park is hosting a series of activities and events to delight guests of all ages. From special readings and entertaining activities to giveaways and free yoga sessions, book lovers and mothers are in for a treat.

Every Friday and Saturday until March 11, 2023 Umm Al Emarat Park’s very own Park Market will be installing its very-own book corner and giving away a variety of insightful books in English and Arabic, in addition to hosting Hakawati sessions, Arabic-calligraphy workshops and many other family-friendly reading and entraining activities. Whether you're a book lover or a curious learner, the Park Market activities will help you discover new worlds as you connect with your loved ones in nature.

On 03 and 04 March, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, guests can look forward to a range of engaging activities such as storytelling sessions, interactive workshops, music sessions, Arabic calligraphy, books for loan, and much more. To make it even more special, notable local authors such as Dr. Fatima Al Mazroui and Hessa Al Muhairi will also be part of some workshops to share their knowledge and experience.

The third and final weekend of the Park Market, taking place on 17-18 March, is all about celebrating Mother's Day, and Umm Al Emarat Park has got an array of exciting activities planned to make it a special day to remember for moms of all age-groups. Mothers can expect performances, entertaining shows, giveaways, and free yoga sessions to more than 100 mothers, ensuring that all mothers feel special while finding their zen in what can be a rollercoaster of a journey.
